The owner, Olivier, invited the entire Fat Tire crew to the 17th century cellar for a private wine tasting to give us an exclusive look at the company and the experience. The tastings are held in the heart of Paris and take place in what used to be an underground passage way from The Louvre for the king. King Louis XV turned them into Royal Cellars and made it a storage place for the wines of the court of the king of France. Aka AMAZING location!
After our fair share of excellent wine, delicious cheese, and amazing company/conversation we headed to J'go, a French bar, to celebrate Olivier's bookdeal (blog --> soon to be pubished book). J'go was a blast! The night ended with the bar's waiters (along with a familiar face) dancing on the bar singing a traditional French song... Gotta love my life in the city of lights!
