Athens, Greece.
Today I spent the day discovering what was left of Athens on my own. After breakfast at the hostel, I hopped on the metro toward the city center. I found a small, used bookstore... The best part: the books were in English! (Reminded my of Half Price Books in Austin... boy do I miss that place) Then I found a small food stand and bought some fresh olives and nuts (This reminded me a bit of Wholefoods... what a great day!)
I spent the afternoon holed up in a small coffee and dessert shop reading my books! Around dinner time I ventured down a nearby street and found a lovely cafe. I enjoyed bread and oil, salmon salad, and wine! What a great end to a great day!
