High: Getting groceries and finding a place to get my watch battery replaced (only took 7 days and 6 Euros).
Low: The wind chill = 14 degrees.
Details: We woke up and took care of the remaining loose strings concerning our apartment. Then it was on to the big event of the day... Grocery shopping!! It is was so nice to be able to fill the fridge and be able to make meals instead of having to eat out. However, carrying the groceries back to the apartment was not so fun. It is crazy to think of all the differences that exist between here and home, like wheeling your groceries to you car and then unloading at your door step. It is not quite as simple here. The food is so fresh though, so that makes up for the added effort.
To end the day we wandered around our neighborhood looking at all the shops and restaurants, keeping an eye out for a place to get my watch battery replaced. BHV is a huge shopping center that is closer than we thought. It turns out that the location of our apartment is amazing! We are so close to everything. BHV couldn't replace my battery, but the salesman was able to point me in the right direction to one. I have been trying to get this done since I arrived so I felt so proud to finally get this accomplished!
